Community Groups

The mission of the West Windsor Community Farmers Market is to first and foremost, support local farms and to offer a location for these farms to meet and sell their products to local residents of the West Windsor area.

The West Windsor Community Farmers Market is pleased to offer local non-profit organizations and community groups (whose efforts are to raise awareness and educate the local residents of the West Windsor area on food choices, healthy activities, sustainability, environment, local economy culture, etc.) a free space to gather and display materials.

Rules for Community and Non-Profit Groups

Arrangements for securing a date to attend the market must be made with prior approval and communication on a first come, first-served basis with the West Windsor Community Farmers Market Manager or Board Member representative. We host up to three groups per main season market.

Soliciting donations is not permitted, unless previously approved by the West Windsor Community Farmers Market Board. Only under special, pre-arranged circumstances are any items to be sold.

The Market does not provide tables, tents, or chairs; please bring your own.  We suggest a 10’ x 10’ canopy and weights (i.e. cinder blocks with ropes or 20 lb circle gym weights for each tent leg) to maintain the aesthetics of the marketplace, and to give your group/organization sun protection. On occasion, we may have an available tent to loan; please check with the Market Manager the week of your event.

Each group or organization must prominently display its name using banners, tri-fold signs and/or poster board.

Arrive at 8:30am and check in with the Market Manager to be directed to your set-up location. Materials and supplies may be dropped off at this location and vehicles must be moved to the legal parking area of the market (this is an area outside of customer parking).

Set-up location in the market is at the discretion of Market Management and no particular space is guaranteed.  We will do our best to place your group among the farms and vendors.

Each group is expected to remain for the duration of the day's market 9:00am-1:00pm, unless prior arrangements with the Market Manager have been made.

Please remember that you are a guest at our market.  We ask that you remain behind/near your table and do not aggressively solicit shoppers and vendors by walking throughout the marketplace.  This includes placing flyers on parked vehicles or hawking customers.

The market operates rain or shine.  In the case of severe inclement weather, the Market Manager will determine cancellation of a market day and notify your group in a timely manner.  Please be sure the Market Manager has a contact name and cell phone number on file for your group, so that we can notify you and do our best to reschedule your date.
